Can you use Staub on induction?

Yes. Staub products can be used on all hobs including induction. Products with a black matte exterior are coated with blue enamel on the bottom which protects sensitive cooktops.

Can Staub cookware go in the oven?

Yes. Further, all lid knobs are made of either brass or nickel-plated stainless steel and are heat-resistant up to 250°C.

Is Staub non-stick?

The surface of Staub’s black matte enamel is not covered with a specific nonstick coating. A little oil is always needed to prepare dishes, but after a while, a natural nonstick coating will form in exactly the same way as a normally seasoned pure cast iron product.

Do Staub pans need seasoning?

All Staub products are enamelled on the outside and the inside.

Can you put Staub in the dishwasher?

Yes, but Staub recommends that you hand wash; do not use any abrasive sponges or scouring powders. Staub guarantees the quality of their products; carefully caring for your cookware ensures you will be able to use your Staub products for a long time.

Can Staub rust?

No. Because the cookware features an enamelled coating inside and out, it will not rust.
